Description:We used a novel pheromone detection method to quantify retinue pheromone (QRP) concurrently with shotgun metabolomics and lipidomics analysis to determine what changes in pheromones and small molecules may underpin differences in age, laying status, and acceptance by workers in honey bee queens.
