PR002130 (Project)

Description:Metabolomics of adult mice Amygdala and Hippocampus. Samples collected from conventional, antibiotic-treated and germ-free mice across 4 timepoints of the day. The goal of the project is to investigate the role of the gut microbiota on the circadian patterns of metabolites in the brain. Results indicated that metabolites involved in glutamate metabolism are altered across the day depending on microbial status.
